So, I'm finally getting around to playing with animations and I found the (most exellent) tutorial but I get stuck when it comes to needing the "Casual Man P2" model. I don't have it and the provided one is a Mac file. I contacted Ulrika Zugzwang and seems a lot of us are having the same problem. If anyone has this file in Windows format, you could help a bunch of us by providing a zipped copy. Ulrika advised me if I could help track it down, she'd be happy to put it up on her site. How about it? Anyone have it? THANKS ! -MJ

Is there any way we can post it here? A lot of people contact me for this missing figure in the Windows distribution. If you don't feel comfortable with that, send me a copy by email and I'll put it on my website. ~Ulrika~

I've been looking in the MacOS version of Poser to see if there's anything I can do to help out. Unfortunately, I don't have files named "MaleCasHi.obj" and "MaleCasLo.obj". What I thought I'd do instead, is see if I could just grab my Poser 2 Male Casual Hi model alone and put that on my website. Additionally I did a grep Runtime Flap.pz3 | sed 's/.*:Run/:Run/' | sort | uniq
to see what object files my example Flap.pz3 file that I have on my website was dependent on. What I did then was tar up the Poser 2 Male Casual Hi model and all the dependent objects. I've put that file on my website for download. Warning! I have no experience with mixing and matching Win and MacOS version of Poser. It could overwrite some important files. Make sure you have a backup. With that said I have the file on my website for download in ".tar.gz" format (WinZip will be able to extract it) here. Note that the archive stores full paths starting from and including the "Runtime" directory. Give it a cautious try and let me know if it works for you. ~Ulrika~

Actually, I just found the files. For me they are called "Runtime/Geometries/maleCasHi/maleCasHi.obj". The "find" command I was using is case sensitive so I missed it.
I also found a bunch of other object files that might be needed beyond the maleCasHi.obj file. I added those to the archive and put it on my website. Now that I know files are matching, I feel a little more comfortable with exchanging them between Win and MacOS. Give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Misnomer, try the zipped files I have uploaded to my website. Poser files here the zip file contains geometry and character files needed. There is a read me for each, but it is really simple. Just put the folders in the right place and you should be good. Champie

If these are originating from the mac distribution, make sure they're named with a file extension. Can't tell you how many times I get files from mac people and have to call them up and ask "uh, what kind of file is this?" so I can add an extension for windows to recognize.

If you all can assemble an archive of the files that were needed, I'd be happy to place them on my website if they don't have a permanent home.

Check Champies link, they are all bundled there. He kindly put in note cards to make it easier to place them in the correct spot.
The texture one (listed seperately) goes in the \runtime\textures folder.

OK! I collected all the files, placed them into a single archive, and put them on my website here. The archive extracts into the Poser subdirectory "Runtime", which is standard for Poser archives. ~Ulrika~
