I figured oout why my animation is going haywire instead of what I want it to do. The fact that I have to leave the first frame in the default SL stance is totally screwing up the rest of my animation. So what I did was set frame one to what I want it to be. Them I make my animation with key frames every so often. When I play it looks fine. Then I go back to the first frame and set it back to the default SL stance. After I do that it completly destroys my animation. What gives? I've tried messing with all those graphs and stuff, but because of the default stance first frame it completly displaces every body part from what I want making it an endless task to fix everything. There has to be a simple work around for this. It seems totally moronic to me that we have to start with the default SL pose. Do they(LL) intentionlly make this shit way harder then it needs to be just so only those with major computer design backround can do anything with it??

Kelly, read the thread I linked you to regarding keyframes. The reason you're having problems when you change back the first frame is that any body part that doesn't also have a keyframe on the 2nd frame will tween between the first frame and the next place in the animation that you have a keyframe for it. Leave the first frame in the default pose and start your animation on the 2nd. Put a key in that frame for every body part you don't want to start in its default position. Otherwise you'll get problems like you describe.

Chip I did read that post by you. I was still confused. I do set a key fream on frame 2 also. It seems like frame 1 goes into the mix whatever I do. Do I need to set key frames for every frame? When I do that my animation looks very choppy as it's hard for me to move the body parts to make the transitions look gradual and natural.

Nope, no need to put a key on every frame. Without looking at your file it's hard to guess what's giving you problems. I've done very little animating in Poser so I'd don't know all its quirks.
