I was just browsing and I ran across a free BVH files site. You have to register but they have a nice little library with lots of free bvh files. I noticed a lot of skating, some dancing, lots of misc ones as well.

The site is actually posted on the Helpful Resources Wiki page, but yeah they have a lot of interesting files.

A lot of them still need a lot of manual work and fixes as the files are mostly raw files without any motion interpolation and other postprocessing work. But they can be a good starting point.

I think so too....when i first started animating i used these as starters. Although although they are ogod for i think. Nothing original seems to come from them,
