Hi everyone I hope I can get an answer to my problem here I am in the process of making my own animations for my own AO. All the stands seem fine but I am really having issues with sits. The animations look perfect but when you place them in the AO (zhao) and then go sit on an object I either hover over the object or sink into it, is there something I need to know when I create a sit animation to be used in an AO? I am really confused lol I would really appreciate some advice on this. Thanks

It's all in the hips In this case, a matter of tuning the vertical position of the hips to match the built-in Linden sits. A good way is to download all the Linden animations in a zip file here: http://secondlife.com/community/avatar.phpand import a basic sit into your animation program, note the offset (difference) between the hip heights in frame 1 and frame 2, and offset the hips in your animation by the same amount. It's only the difference that matters, not the absolute numbers, so if your animations have a lot of frames you might find it easier to just adjust the hips in frame 1 such that the offset ends up correct.
