Having hit a level of frustration I hate existing at, I have decided to turn to you brilliant people in hopes of finding a solution.

I've had a Vista hud since June. For the past 2 wks, almost without exception, each time I land - I fall flat on my face. It happened last night, on the Titanic, with me in a very expensive gown, looking very elegant - until I landed on my face.

I've reset the scripts in the hud, reloaded the notecard, I've done everything *I* can think to do.

Does anyone have an idea of how to stop this? Of note - neither of my alts are falling!

This sounds like one of two things:

1) A configuration problem in your AO. Which animation is it supposed to play upon landing? Is it really playing that one? Is the animation loaded in the AO? Do you receive an error message upon landing ("animation not found" or something like that).

2) A misconfiguration so that you are not playing a customized animation upon landing.

In both cases, check your AO configuration. I don't know about Vista AOs, but in my ZHAO-II I enter the name in the appropriate line in a notecard and load it by selecting the appropriate menu option in the configuration menu.

Is it really, really doing the right thing in your case? Check missing characters, spelling, special characters, &c. in the notecard.

Tip #2 was it. The animation I had originally put in the card was no longer in that position. I re-added it, and so far, so good.

Thanks!

Another option to explore are flight assist items. If they make you fly faster, that means you hit the ground faster, and thusly harder. Prompting the AO to play the high fall animation instead of the simple 'dust off' animation. :)
