I'm wondering/hoping that what I'm looking for is already freely avalible or on the market...I have some $L but don't want to spend a lot. Are there or can someone quickly make me:

-A gesture that is a single step sideways to the left
-The same, but to the right
-A full twirl around in place, like in a ballroom dance

I'm looking to do a proof-of-concept for a different methood of dancing in SL...instead of relying completely on pre-scripted animations (with all due awe and respect to the people that spend hours and hours making them, it gets boring after 5 or 10 minutes when you don't have to do anything but watch), the idea is to have several different, individual "steps" that the user has to execute via pressing keys in time with the beat/music. This would probably be tried first with simple line dances but with different "step" animations and gestures could be done as a waltz, tango, various ballroom dances, square dances, etc, done alone, in pairs, or even as large groups.

Heck, someone technicly inclined enough could hook up a Dance Dance Revolution pad to their computer, map the buttons to the appropriate keys and "dance" for real.

Ooh! Great idea! I think I'd actually like to dance if I could do that!

That's how the idea came about...I was talking with someone last night about a: how boring most dances were and b: the fact that she's due to host a barn dance in Montmartre next week. :)

Ok, I found out how to do the left and right movement which is a default (shift + arrow keys for movement), I just need the twirl now.
