I created some sit animations and tried various poseball scripts with them. Some of the scripts would not do the animation properly, for example, the lower body would not animate or go into pose properly. Is this a problem with the animation or the script? Other scripts it would work properly.

I'm not much of an animation pro so I won't be too big of a help. Does the animation work when you use it off of a poseball? Like just standing? It sounds more like a script error, if one poseball works, and one does not.
Also, I think the best idea would be to post the poseball script you used that did not work. That would be a big help to seeing if its the poseball or not. _____________________

If an animation works correctly when played directly but not when played through a poseball, chances are it's been uploaded at a too low priority. The default sit has a higher priority than the default stand, and as you're always "sitting" on a poseball, your priority has to be high enough to override that. When you upload an animation you intend to use with poseballs or furniture, always check the preview with "Sitting" selected from the drop-down menu.

Thanks for the responses. The animations do work when just played in world. I tried uploading them at both priority 3 and 4, but certain scripts simply do not like them for some reason and the SL sit animation is not overridden. I would post the scripts that are not working, but I do not have permission to do so.

It's the script, you should stop the default sit animation by putting:
llStopAnimation("sit" ![]() before starting yours. If you need a poseball script, here's a very complex one: http://lslwiki.net/lslwiki/wakka.php?wakka=LibraryPoseBall |
