Has anyone successfully gotten this program to work? I don't want to buy it if it wont work... I know its supposed to, or at least we were initially told it would, but I know some people had problems...

I believe Poser 4 is Poser Artist, they just changed the name when Poser 5 came out. If I am correct (and I'm pretty sure I am), many have gotten it to work with anims for SL. Just make sure you have the P2 figures.

Nothing personal to you, but this is about the stupidest question anyone can ask, and it annoys me whenever someone asks me this about any of my programs. YES, IT WORKS. IF IT DIDN'T, NO ONE WOULD USE IT. :p

The issue being, when 1.4 first came out, there were a number of reports of people having problems getting it to work for SL, and no positive reports. I have no doubt it *works*, but potentialy not for SL :P

I've been using Poser Artist since mid 1.4 preview. It works like a champ.

...now that you say that, I'm actually not sure about Poser 4. I have Poser 4, but I never used it for animations.

You win, I lose. Now I'll have to cry myself to sleep at night. :D

Poser Artist works wonderfully. You do need to be careful and not animate anything like fingers or toes. That is a sure way to make SL reject the file (Hands and feet are ok, just not fingers and toes).

I use the default figures or if your careful the P3 figures will work well also.
