creatingting a walk

Hello i have been doing some animations for sometime now even got a little buisnes going. i am laying low but fiddling trying to make my own ao or fiddling with it. yeah i admit i am having to many big idea's lol going to need a bigger stove. lol

well i am trying to make a walk animation and simple but stupid how do i do it? hopefuly poser 6 still is good with sl. i tried to use the walk animator in it and go something. when i upload it to sl i only walk in place.

do i have to frame out the walk?

If you're walking in place, then you have the animation you need. What you need to do next is to put this animation into an AO (ZHAO is popular and free). The AO will substitute your new walk in place of the default walk. At this point you may well find that the new walk is too fast or too slow and the feet seem to slide over the ground. You will then have to go back to poser and tweak the walk so that it matches up with the speed of the default AO. This may take quite a few iterations.

Don't forget, it's a lot cheaper to do all this on the Beta grid, where uploads are free.
