Is it a Rock animation as playing a Guitar Is it a Rock animation as Dancing to Rock Music Is it a Rock animation as Picking up a rock? If its the first or the last it could have been created by the individual through a tutorial that is for Poser. That would explain why its all over the net. Shadow _____________________

Yes. I'm charging $100 for a sexy walk and a geisha walk that one could create in Poser in about 5 minutes for the sexy walk and 30 minutes for the geisha walk.
The price is there for a couple of reasons. First it lets the users know that this isn't just a free pile of low-quality animations, rather they are of the highest quality and come with the support one would expect from a purchased product. For instance, I've modified both walks several times for people with special projects and occupations, passing the modifications on for free. If a customer is dissatisfied, I always refund their money. You see, for me this is becoming less about the product (an animation) and more about the service and relationship. The service is the creation, packaging, selling, and teaching of all things that have to do with animation. (My basic animation class is on 2 July 2004 at 7 p.m. PST.) So your argument that people are getting ripped off by products that you can replicate easily assumes a product-based market. In a service-based market the fee covers more than just the product, it buys the support and trust that comes with the name of the maker. As an analogy one simply has to look at the automotive market. Anyone can make a box with four wheels but only BMW can offer BMW's service. Guess how I'll be marketing my animations? ~Ulrika~ |

Ulrika, its more so the point that those animations from others cannot be cited as their own. However yours, mine and a few others can honestly say its our own creations as we hold the orginal .pz2 file that can be manipulated for custom ones.
We simply didnt just go download an animation and load it up in its orginal .bvh file we actually created ours that is the difference and we can mod ours as per peoples requests.. . Shadow _____________________

I didnt say there wasnt any, I said they are easily made with walk designer.. meaning just cus you see someone with it doesnt neccesarily mean it was just an upload... walks are tyh easiest thing to do IMO
