ok, I have read 2 long and wonderful tutorials and the text with the SL provided default characters. And lots of forum posts. I am trying very hard to edumacate myself before jumping into my poser 7 program, honest I am :). Now, my question is...do I upload the default SL poses to poser 7 or use one of the Poser 7 pose sets or use NO pose sets???? Make any sense?

Welcome to the party!

I'm not sure what you mean by uploading a "default" Poser 7 "pose." I think you mean that you want to put the SL Avatars into your Poser folder -- er, I think in the runtime/Libraries/Character subfolder, that's where they seem to be in my installation. Once you have the avatars in that folder, fire up Poser, delete the default figure from your scene, and add one of the two SL avatars to your scene instead. You definitely want to use the SL avatars; they make life much simpler.

If that doesn't answer your question, please post again. :)

Hallo Kirstin - I'm a blonde too :)

Yes upload the SL avatar figures into your Poser library. You can also use the Poser 2 figure because it has the same skeleton, but it is easier to use the SL ones.

From then on in, you can use any of the poses that come in the Poser library and modify them by changing the positions of the joints, or create your own just starting with the basic T-pose figure.
