Did the New Moves Contest die ??

I'm not aware of all who entered, but I know of a few of us. There has been no word of any details about the contest since the due date. We know the party happened and that apparently some videos did not get shown. There has been no word as to what happened, who won, who placed, etc. It would be realllly nice if we could at least hear something?

Where are the videos? So far I only know of 1. I'll volunteer to host videos if anyone needs bandwidth. I have plenty to spare.

I haven't heard anything yet either. Further, the URL listed in the official rules as the location to go to for the results doesn't exist.

I believe that the New Moves party was a public relations event and not dedicated to the judging of our entries, thus we are experiencing a delay most likely because they are currently judging entries, verifying authenticity, and creating the online content to coincide with the announcement.

Of course, that's all speculation. They could be gorging themselves at the Happy Donut on 3rd Street for all I know.

When I was wandering around as a newbie, the best advice I was given, was to be patient, for all things in SL take time.

I have heard from a reputable source that the winners of the animation contest will be announced sometime today on Wednesday 28 July 2004.

It sounds like they have been very busy lately.
