I am on the market for Poser 6 and I saw this site: http://www.newmediamall.com/?prod_id=purchase_poser6mwCould someone tell me if I should buy the eFrontier or Curious Labs version or if it matters. Also, has anyone seen the above website or purchased from it? Usually if it sounds to good to be true, it prolly is. LOL

Curious Labs = eFrontier. They just changed their company name recently to eFrontier.
Looks like an interesting reseller, but note that they are only offering a downloaded delivery. You get no CD's, no manuals... Just the application.
The price is similar to what eFrontier offered on their 'amnesty sale' a while back, when Poser 6 was released. At that time, if you had ANY earlier version of Poser, even if you couldn't prove you had purchased it, they would let you buy a legit copy of the Poser 6 app for $99 USD. That offer from eFrontier is no longer available. But it implies that they might not mind a reseller pricing it so low. Especially for a software download only version.

Over, if your only use for Poser is to create poses and animations for Second Life, you really only need Poser 4 (also called Poser Artist). While Poser 6 has lots of additional features, they aren't useful for SL (at least not at this time). So, if Poser Artist can be had a lot cheaper, you may want to buy it instead. Just a thought.
