Age ago I am sure I saw a screen dump showing someone had cracked posing hands - I presume by using a high priority animation of just the hand 'overlayed' over a lower priority one. Now I can't find it. Can someone help me find out if I am mad?

I didn't read the post you were talking about, nor did I find it today when searching for it.

No the priotity does not work for the hands. They will clench and un clench depending on what default animation is playing. You can morph the hand in the upload, but it doesn't stick. There is also no exact timing that it sticks. I've counted it where its as short as 5 seconds and up to over a min. With many varibles inbetween. Sometimes it doesn't even trigger. I have attempted to script it so it would trigger a pose with morphed fists every few seconds, but it has not given constant results.

There was a rumour floating around in 12/04 that they were working on a fix for this, but as of last week, there still is none.
