Determining loop times?

Is there any way, other than watching and using a stop watch, to determine the loop time of an animation?

The length of an animation you mean?

I use poser, so it tells me in the program how long my animation is.

I was hoping for some way inside of SL for animations I have not created. I already know the length of animations I have created.

ah ok.

No.

You'll have to keep your stopwatch handy.

How often Ravanne, would you want to do this? Would you be willing to take the anim out of the object to find out? (Assuming the anims are in a modifiable object so they could be put back in of course! ;) ) If so, would it be worth creating a script that would time animations for you?

If this is related to the problem of getting the loop percentages for upload...
I've not found any reliable method - if you know the fps of an animation, the total number of frames and can identify the start and end frames of the looped section, then you can do a bit of arithmetic and work out the percentages.

I think the percentage method is solely used because you can animate at various fps and SL will optimise to 15 fps at the time of upload. So the original frame numbers of your animation can't be used to identify the looped section when you upload. (I hope that is understandable.)

I'm looking for a way to get the length of a looped animation, not necessarily of my own creation, nothing I can find in the animation properties give that information. A programatic method would be best but any way other than just timing with a stop watch would be great.
