HI...... I am trying to learn animations and using the sl qavmiator . I took a very basic class on it here in sl and am now trying it on my own. My question is : I am trying to make a fllying camel skating spin with the body and left leg at a 90 degree angle . The right leg is the only leg in contact with the ground.
When i run in animationin qavmiator and the sl preview , it looks ok. After I iimport it, both of the legs are in contact with the ground instead of the left one being in the 90 degree position. Why did the leg positon change or any other position change after import? How do i prevent this?
thanks in advance for any help

I am not a seasoned animation veteran by any stretch and this may be a very silly question. Is your AO off when you try it? Did you set the animation priority to 4? I sometimes have issues with my animations I upload when my AO is active. Switching it off does the trick for me. Sadly if these do not fix you I am out of suggestions. Maybe someone else can help if this doesn't do the trick.

hi macphisto.. thanks for your suggestion and help. I found the problem after fooling around for a bit more. It was the movement of the leg. when i rotated the body or hips to 90 degrees , I did not alter the movement of the left leg at all and so it stayed techically at 0. When i moved it 10 -20 degrees up it stays up as it should.
DoH...... like i said I am just learning, but I appreciate your response. Thank You ..Lacy

What's a flying camel spin? Sounds pretty hilarious, but I'm guessing that's just a goofy name for a normal skating move.

Hi John...... you made some of the other skating spins for me, but yes it is just a silly name for a normal skating spin with one leg extended horizontally behind the body. I want to do some more moves, but you said you were busy so I thought i would give it a try. Very interesting i must say. If you ever have more free time, let me know Lacy
