so, i know there are some anims built into the client.. anybody know where i can get the list of them? i know there is a handgun and bazooka pose but i was wondering what else..

Standard anims not the full story?

I found the default animations and looked at the standing anims in qavimator and...I just don't get it. They don't seem complete. For example, one of the anims slides one foot forward, but there's no sliding it back. Also, there's no torso twising or head turning.
So, I gather: 1) there are parts of the standing animation that are not included in the downloads, or perhaps some of these are simple reversed, and 2) there is more than one anim running simultaneously (e.g. twisting and standing), and I either don't have access to or haven't found those other anims (e.g. twisting). 3) reactions to the environment (e.g. all the nearby avatars look up at something flying) are run simultaneously with the standing anim. Is there a resource that explains this? I'd like to simply add some shoulder rotation to the standard standing anim so my hands don't spend so much time burried in my hips, and I don't want to create a rigid pose like some I've seen. That is, I want to keep the torso twisting, head turning, reaction to the environment, etc. Is that even possible? Thanks, Anya |

I dont know about the defaults that you download because I've never tried it.
BUT. If you want to make a static pose that moves with the enviornment you can make ones. 1. Do not move the head or neck at all. This will keep the head moving with the camera. 2. Don't move the torso at all, waist and chest. This will keep the breathing and torso movement intact. 3. Upload at priority 2 to allow the gestures, like typing, through. Basically whatever you don't move in keyframe 2 will not be animated within SL. This can sometimes give interesting results when we forget to move the collar bone ![]() So just move the legs, hips and arms the way you want, make the ease in and out at .75% and it *should* work for you. _____________________
