I am not 100% positive that this is the place to post this, and am not sure that this was done maliciously, but just in case there are others who were Caged, I felt it would be appropriate to make this post. If this has happened to anyone else, please let me know.
Yesterday afternoon, I had to run a quick errand, and upon my return, I found that Koebi Tachikawa had placed a cage over my avatar. I was able to teleport to home, and return to my location. Upon my return, a friend had emailed me a screenshot of Koebi Tachikawa standing on the cage, with the property "instect Object" indicating that it was owned by Koebi Tachikawa. It further shows on the picture his SL info and group information.
I also added him as friend and teleported him to my location, and have the local chat log saved. I can post a copy, if it seems necessary, or is requested. Koebi Tachikawa claimed that it was not he who had done this, but a "friend" must have logged on using his account.

Noneya, please don't take this the wrong way. I understand this is your first post, and like most of us (me included), you probably didn't read the forum guidelines comprehensively when you arrived.
But please... remove all instances of that person's name from your post. It's against the rules here and could get you a warning. ;_;
You can abuse report people form in-world by the way, by clicking Help > Abuse Report.
I'm sorry this happened to you.

Actually... The forum is the worst place to put this. When it was happening, you should have went to [>Help >Report Abuse] and made an abuse report on the person. If you really do still have the information, you may still be able to make the report by copy-pasting it into the report. I know I learned my lesson about that here. (>_<

Imnotgoing is right ... the Lindens don't look for this sort of report anywhere in the forums. She described to you the AR (Abuse Report) process, and yes, if you still have the info you can file it. The more specific info you can provide, the better. Even in the unlikely situation that someone else used this guy's avatar to cage you, an inquiry from the Lindens would serve as a reminder that people should be careful not to leave themselves logged in on shared computers.
If I'm going to be AFK for a bit in public, I try to sit, because that is a good defense against many sort of attacks. More often, tho, I simply log out. .

I'm not certain that he need be reported, unless of course he has (and continues) to cage people. This is mainly to see if it has happened to others

I think I still have claw marks because of my lack of AR knowledge from a few weeks back. (>_< Second Life is pretty big. I'm sure there's a griefer somewhere caging or orbiting someone right now. The only people that can make the connections between who is a constant trouble maker or random joker are the Lindens. And, the only way they really find out and keep track is by taking abuse reports. An abuse report doesn't mean that person will get immediate attention. I'm sure something like a single caging might just get shrugged off... No harm, no foul. But a collection of harassment ARs in a few hours and suddenly little Linden ears perk up. I'm sure everyone gets an abuse report once in a while, but the reports may be so vague or harmless that they are quickly ignored, filed away, and we all go on with our SLives. (^_^)

Not to mention, naming names in the forum is against the rules. you should edit your post and remove the name.

From: Noneya Beerbaum a "friend" must have logged on using his account. Uh, huh... I'm sure this has been said hundreds of thousands of times in various chatrooms, MMOs, and virtual worlds. Reminds me of a five year old. Then again, so does caging random strangers. And this from a guy with 4chan in his profile, lol
