A Transaction Suggestion

First, why is it that when money transactions "go stale" the L$ are still deducted from your balance? I'd be curious to know just how many L$ are "vaporized" on any given day when these constantly occurring "issues" are going on.

Therefor what I suggest is that some sort of confirmation system be created. Some way of ensuring that a "stale" transaction doesn't deduct the money for no good reason. Speaking personally, the only thing that's "stale" about this constantly happening is my patience at being ripped off randomly on a daily basis due to the same old problems we've seen hundreds of times before.

In short, my suggestion is FIX IT, or start giving people their L$ back when your broken system rips them off.

Interesting, I had a problem last week with a land purchase for L$130.000, I purchased the land and I was still not the owner until approximately 36 hours later, 2 support tickets and then a final call to Support. I must say after the call it was sorted in 5 minutes so excellent service there.

But in answer to your post yes I agree, if there are known issues then there should be a device or something in place that prevents and protects people from making purchases.
Even if it was a drop down menu or some kind of message on screen that told you there are inworld transaction problems instead of having to rely on the blog which is not always accarate and 100% up to date.

There are a number of threads at the moment regarding this issue but mainly only to complain of the incompetence of Linden Labs and the continued problem of transactions failing over the past 10 days.

Can this question or issue not be raised in the Jira section, not having much knowledge of Jira I am not sure what the rseponse and support would be.
