HUD appear to be dead in latest release

In First Look 1.13.3.58185, HUDs do not seem to work

MacOSX10.4.8

Same in the LInux client...

I noticed that last night, with my hot air balloon...I thought I had done something wrong.

Same with Windows. My N30 Photo Studio HUD stopped working with the latest version. Thank heavens, it wasn't only me.

I can't wear both my xcite and my pussy any more at the same time. What the heck good is one with out the other. Maybe the Lenden's could help me out there. What do you do when you are xcited and don't have a pussy.

Oh well, been too busy building new Dance "Club Sin-her-G" to use it. If SL ever comes back on line and we can finish, please come visit us. I may let you play with me *wink*

Attachment that i got on my spine with a click action does'nt work either.

Strange how many are havin gthese issues, and they still plan to release this client next week. I sure hope they push back this release date. Until they either learn what the hud problem is, or explain to the makers of huds what they need to do to correct these issues.

I think i found out what made some HUD buttons not function anymore. It has to do with alpha channels and transparency in general.

The button area you click on mustn't be transparent. You have to click on a visible texture to trigger the script that lies inside the prim you clicked on.

Either you're lucky and the HUD you wear and doesn't work anymore with the 58185 firstlook client is modable and you can add a texture to the fully transparent buttons that don't work, or you have to wait for the creator to release an update.

I tried what i described here with the abranimations couples animator, and its fully functioning again. yay! ^___^

This hint about alpha transparency lead me to a workaround. I hope this helps some of you.

Just activate "Highlight Transparent" in Menu "View" or press Ctrl-Alt-T. Then everything will look ugly, but HUDs should work while in this mode.

This could be an option where you just need the HUD to change a setting once in a while.

I really hope they will fix this soon... :-/

In my case they are breaking them..........I had to return one for a replacement!.I don{t know what is going on, but i think the old LSLS coding is now becoming out of date slowly.

Having the same problem. It definatly is FL related. My Invincibot HUD doesn't wana work in the latest FL client, but using it in basic client works.

*nods* It has affected a vendor I set up. I may just try to work around it if I can.

When I tried to use them inthe normal client its does not work. I wonder what the problem is. It appears its screwing up the way the text is deplayed on the screen ......had mine balled up.......... and then nolonger showed. This happened whike in a very high stressed sim. Then BOOM! its showed inthe inventory, but not screen i relocated all possible but nothing.

HUD is now fixed in First Look 1.13.3.58390

Woohoho!!!!!!!!!!! Steve is doing good work Noteverything is going right but in a short time this wonderful client wil be ready I can`t wait until they work the rest of the bugs out.

as a HUD retailer.. I have already had two reports of "my hud doesn't work" (on Friday) and it turned out these people were using FL. switching back to official solved the issue. What's going on here fols? this thing goes live, and I'm out of business.

I said before I had a hud break due to the first look client and it did not or nolonger work on the normal client.
