I have a personal protection hud which is now totally useless. One moment its working the next a ball of text is amassed at the bottom lower lart of the hub location. Are we ever going to get a correct fix for this problem? It appears this hud is no broken and useless. Whats worse is the maker is not even supporting this object. I have now try this hud in the normal client and it still apears unusable! It appears WORN inthe inventory But its not even showing in the screen locations ANY OF THE LOCATIONS!

I am having an issue with my Luskwood AV HUD. It no longer functions with the first look client either. |

Hey Trisan, it appears that it broke my hud. I can`t see it on the screen. I tried to see if it worked onthe reg viewer and NOWAY! Its not even showing there either? What gives?

What a pain that sounds like! Have you tried editing your HUD, moving it toward the center of your screen? Or changing its attachment location to Center to see what's up with it? What does it look like if you rezz it on the ground?
To edit a HUD that has slipped off screen, you go into Edit mode and click on a HUD that you can see, use the mouse wheel to zoom out (I don't know how to zoom a Mac), and then click on your misbehaving HUD, which you can now edit back to its correct position. If, as happens, the screen resets when you click on the HUD you want, it is still selected; you just have to use the mouse wheel to zoom the screen again to see the HUD. Hope this helps.

all i would say is anything you buy just make sure it has update support..expecially in sl with all the patches and fixes that go on..if someone is going to put out a product that will be affected by updates such as defense and security and weapons and such.if there is not product support..i won't touch it nomatter how good it is in this patch ..most times it won't be a few patches down the road..
if there is a user group for the product you have you may want to join it if you haven't already..alot have auto update through thier groups when you equipe the item if you are in thier user group..that or try thier main website if you haven't already..
but more than likely it sounds like an out of date product to me from your description.
also can you say the name of the product..that would be a great deal of help in finding answers if you just bought this hud.

I noticed that the latest SL viewer doesn't show all the prims on a HUD unless I edit it at least once.  |

I had bug reported my experiences with the HUD and the firstlook client a couple days ago. If an object rezzes a HUD and asks for attach permission, upon granting it shows as worn in inventory, but is invisible. A subsequent detach and reattach from inventory then corrected the issue. I haven't yet tried the latest Firstlook, but from what people are saying it sounds like it's worse now rather than better.
