I have a some real issues with FirstLook (127)
First
My huds (AO, MystiTool, Omicron, ect) freezes up on me. It happens randomly. Even if I only use one hud it lockup randomly. What happens, the hud does not respond on my mouse input when I click on a button. A manual reset on the commandline does not work, SL shows no response
Sometimes I go up a couple of hundred meters and the hud (or huds) reset. A relog helps the most of the times. It appears after 10 ore 20 minutes.
Second
If I turn up my draw distance above 196 meter SL crashes or SL stops responding, resulting in a black screen (one click it goes white) and returns after 30 seconds or a couple of minutes. I had no problems with this in the first FirstLook version.
For these issues I turned my system in and out… reinstalled SL, all drivers are up to date. No over-clocking… No strange programs in the background.
Any help will be appreciated. ------------ Second Life 1.18.0 (127) Jul 12 2007 17:01:36 (Second Life Voice First Look) CPU: Intel Pentium Pro (Unknown model) (2400 MHz) Memory: 4094 MB OS Version: Microsoft Windows Vista (Build 6000) 64x Graphics Card Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation Graphics Card: GeForce 8800 GTX/PCI/SSE2 OpenGL Version: 2.1.1 LLMozLib Version: 1.1.0 (Mozilla GRE:1.8.0.12_0000000000) Packets Lost: 529/165059 (0.3%) Viewer Digest: b13b3746-38ed-3e2b-a6f7-70d369c53cbf

One answer could be: The HUD not responding could be due to the way the client now puts scripts further down the list of priorities, also if they use ingame communication, that has been on a go slow for the past few weeks, only now showing up greatly since the last update. LL had to restart a lot of sims recently, to get new code to work. If you have mod rights on the HUD, edit it on your screen, then go to Tools menu (top of your screen) and choose Reset scripts in selection, thats a more positive way to reset them. Some 'reset script' scripting aren't as efficient. Wearing a lot of HUDS causes SIM lag.... Increasing your draw distance and crashing, that could be heat related, or an electrical circuit breaking down under stress. Imagine for a moment, your view can see 96 mtrs, what the sim server is coping with is not a 50 degree angle of view, but a full 3d view around your location (96x96x96), up that to 256 and you have not just increased the sim server to 2.7 times the work, but that figure grows expotentially because its a 3d enviroment and therefore works in x,y and z directions, so now the 'volume of view' has grown by the power of 3 (256x256x256). The new clients have increased the UDP and TCP ports to make graphics etc work better, maybe that has caused additional stress on your system? What size PSU do you have, and GC type?

Thanks for your answer. I will try if that works with the scripts.
