The voicemap now has dates when sims are expected to be voice enabled.

However when I checked my sim, the date given is Wednesday 31 December 1969!

I'd report this in jira, but jira appears to be broken at the moment (in particular searching is giving an array out of bounds error, so I can't check if this has already been reported)

1969 is the year that is used by most BIOS chips as a start date. Sounds like you might want to check your own BIOS date and convert all dates from that binary readout. If you MB battery is borked, the system clock will revert to it's default date. I had this problem once with a 6 month old MB, when I couldn't view certain ftp websites, it said the certificate had expired... that's what the problem was.
Windows only uses the default BIOS date when installed, it then auto updates from its website once an internet connection is installed. I think its Int13 that is the old DOS date/time cpu cycle that used to be used, that reads the BIOS set time and date.

As this date is being generated by LL web servers (and other dates on the map seem to be correct), the problem is clearly at LL's end. Maybe there is a problem with the MB of the machine the sim is currently on?
