Been a couple weeks. I have tried the new viewer a few times.
I really, really, reallly do NOT like the color or style of it. I am amazed at how much better the older viewer is compared to this.
Next you'll be telling us bowties look good.

Well, I'm sure somone like bowtie. And as a matter of fact, you can still use old-style interface. There are already skin packs that let you revert the interface back to the good-black styles. They're still hacky atm, but I do hope LL will provide a choice or an automate installer later on.

This seems to be the most popular jira submittal for the issue. XML hacks are fin until there is another update. It should either go back to the old color scheme, or give us an easy skinning option. |

As i've started using the RC, i've become less concerened with the look, and more concerned with the drop in performance it causes. Opening UI elements, especially the map, drops framrates considerably.
Considering i usually run around with the Minimap, Local chat history, IM window, and Inventory window open, It is a huge drain on my framerate now  _____________________
