Hello. Yesterday, I downloaded and installed the First Look viewer version 1.13.3(57679). I am thrilled that I finally was able to download this version of First Look as it has completely removed the issue of my program becoming nonresponsive in the task manager! Not only that, it has not crashed at all. I can't even begin to describe the frustration of trying to use the regular viewer for the past week----> 1.13.3(2).

Today, I noticed that the new version of the First Look viewer is available. I believe it is version 1.13.3(57787). I became aware of this version by reading a somewhat recent blog post. The blog says that the version I am running had some bugs in it that were addressed. The blog comments have made me reconsider downloading the new version of First Look. I was wondering if it is normal to be able to use an older version of First Look as I am able to at this time. The only bug the 1.13.3(57679) viewer displays for me is the wrong menu popping up for items in the inventory. Right clicking on an item a second time is a workaround for it. No major problems with it so I might stick with this version for now.

P.S. Dear Lindens: Can you please give me an estimated time of when the new regular viewer will be released? Also, I would like to know if the First Look viewer and the regular viewer are going to be combined? I saw a blog post that said that FL viewer was being prepared to be an official release. I was a little confused as to what that means. lol

Anyone with comparisons they would like to point out to me between these 2 First Looks would be awesome! :D

~Thank You Very Much~

You should be able to use any version of the FL viewer so long as there hasn't been a mandatory update in the main viewer (say, for a sim update) since it was released.

I was happily using either the current regular viewer, and First Look 575...When I installed FirstLook 576, all three stopped working 8-( I never managed to fix it using various uninstalls, wipes, cache clears, etc etc etc

Finally, I got the regular viewer to work again, but none of the three currently available FirstLook viewers.

No clue what the problem is.
