New bug in WindLight?

I ran into something yesterday that I haven't seen before.

Our new club's shell is a spherical, phantom megaprim. Two, actually, one inside the other. The inside sphere has a moving, mostly transparent texture on it, to produce the illusion of moving stars.

I was using the latest (80044) WL build.

For a while, the texture moved normally. However, after about 10 - 11 am SL time yesterday (Feb 24), the moving texture stopped moving in my viewer. Relogs and clearing cache did not help. Other people could still see the texture moving, and I could see it when logged on with the normal SL viewer (1.18.5.3 with Nicholaz patch BE-v).

Has anyone else seen this problem with texture movement? Is it something just recently introduced? Can it be worked around?

Is it possible that you have texture animation turned off in the debug (client) menu? I think it's under the Rendering sub-menu.

Good thought, but no, texture animation is turned on. It's working, too...there are some curtains in there with animated textures, and spinning planets...and I see those fine.

I tried turning a lot of things in the Client menu on and off last night...no luck so far.
