Quite happy to try first look viewer, if they have cured the IM/Chat history (not working in last firstlook Windlight release).

Can anyone tell me if they have cured it and that the chat logs are now updated and saved, otherwise it is useless to me.

Ok don't bother just checked out myself the new firstlook, and chat/IM history select has now been disabled in preferences. so I for one won't be testing it.

The chat history logging should work, you need to be logged in to enable some options.

I don't like the combined IM/chat window. I like to keep the former wide and short, because there tends to be a lot of tabs, and the latter narrow and long, because it fills up quick but I don't want it taking too much screen space. And the Near Me thing on the top takes too much space.

That's for sure. Especially since the volume control display area is completely useless for folks that have voice chat disabled.

I know this is a little late, but yes Milo Thanks...I have now discovered that several of the options are not available for selection until after you have logged in, and also sound adjustments once logged in don't crash the viewer like on the login screen, and am now using the voice firstlook. However disappointed to find that a number of the areas according to the website list and map, that should be enabled aren't as yet, which is limiting the amount of testing that I can do with it.
