Windlight made my avatar ugly. (Includes other Rants)

Ever since I downloaded Windlight, I was hoping the Avatar shading was going to be better, but Linden Lab still uses the shadows that are on the terrain for face shadows, instead of creating better looking soft shadows for the face. The worst part - Facelights no longer work on Windlight either, and the client is extremely unstable as well. It can't even remember the size and location of the mini-map during each login.

I just saw someones' wedding pics taken in WL, sad, distant scenic pics? great,
avi pics meh.

I can get WL to avie decent enough.
But ya know yesterday I must have talked to 4 ppls using 4 diff clients w/ their own settings & debugs and we shared pics and ...............none of us looked the same to ea other.

I kinda liked when we all were on the same view.
