Consistency is the name of the game. A game that LL has been getting better at as of late, but they still fail miserably quite often, like today.

What's the deal with the wind volume suddenly disappearing in windlight, then releasing a new build without fixing it?

What's the deal with releasing a new windlight build without any release notes or blog on it?

I know it's the holidays and all, but COME ON LL, GET YOUR *HIT TOGETHER

Wow, haven't even been using the viewer for 60 seconds when I notice that there's a GIANT bullseye in the sky... Big and black, in every region, and covering everything.

God, now i have to go back a build...

Got that too. From the release notes:

Known New Issue:
* Sky Mesh Detail can show stripes in the sky

I think I'll be going back to 75762.

funny, I JUST figured that out on my own. However, not ALL settings on the sky detail make the rings... some in between work ok.

Ah cool. One notch below the highest setting got rid of them for me. Thanks for the tip.

Just be careful with the slider, I set it somewhere to "mid" and it still works. Need a steady hand for that! ;)

And they sure can't fix everything at once-the biggest complaint WAS lighting.

I just hide indoors from our alien ringlike oppressors, and they haven't bothered me. :)

Goto your graphics tab, tick Custom so you get all the options to show, then look for the Sky slider on the bottom right, change that slider until you see the rings dissapear :)

There are release notes, there is a blog about the new windlight, a wiki page..
Work arounds for the black stripes.
Come on, do your homework before you complain its the teachers fault.

Actually, it's pretty trivial to eliminate the rings by simply tweaking the sky detail slider in prefs, as explained in the release notes. Over all, this is the first Windlight release that I have seen that looked the least bit ready to release.
