The main thing I noticed right away was the ground lighting, and things that I had set to shiney on things that I had built were not.. Well they were, but just not what they should be.. I guess this is already a known issue. Also the silly little line on the horizon is still there, which detracts a bit from the beauty of the sky. The settings were not really that hard to figure out, although when i first opened the window I was a bit intimidated, but that quickly went away as I started moving sliders around.
My frame rate was actually better then with the standard viewer which was a pleasent surprise. I fully expected to take a hit, when in fact I had higher framerates across the board.
I think the ghost preset was really cool. Great for goth or vampire sims.. I had to chuckle to myself though.. The one setting, Island midday or something like that, made it look like sort of like, the morning people wake up to find that everyone around them has turned into zombies ... lol.. Seriously though, Kudos to the designers for making a beta that with the exception of a couple things, really nailed this one.
So fix the lighting, shiney objects, and local lighting, and you have a winner in my book

Ohh.. One other thing I almost forgot.. The sun at midday had a black circle in the middle of it, and at night, I couldn't find a moon..Ok 2 things then ..
