hi all,
have the latest releas windlight,
i am seeing some objects have a deep red tint on them and can be seen through any objets. I had it on previous release also.
there dosnt seem any pattern to what objects effected, but its always the same ones each time i log on.
i have cleared cache and still the same. the normal viewer is un effected.
any ideas, is it just me?

thank you. Sounds like you either activated "Highlight transparent" or activated the beacon for scripted objects. If highlight transparent isn't checked in the View menu, look in the client menu for a beacon option that flags scripted stuff.

or you're possibly looking at objects that have been set to glow with the new windlight effects

Red objects and smudged face on avatar..

Hi.. on the Windlight client just prior to 76453, I tried it and got two effects.. one was the red objects (same ones) seemed rezzed partly but red faded texture on it.. not sure how to fix if somehow edited to work differently in SL.. I don't recall changing anything on those objects for that.. second thing is with a body light (face) or light set for nearby local lights, my avatar's face is always messed with shadows around my eyes.. like a football player  at a game.. if it take off the body light, say at midnight, it goes away, but you can't see my face well at all  ..if i turn off nearby local lights, i get no light or shadowing from a fireplace or lamp or candle, etc. Is that something broken in the client/viewer and going to be fixed?
