Hi,

I just tried the new skies and lighting, and I have to say its absolutely amazing.

I see a big issue with it, though.

The sky settings allow you to change scene gamma with a slider, which is a nice feature.
But, to obtain a nice sky renderings, you have to use high gamma values, and I guess this is why most of the preset settings use 2 as a gamma value.

This is good for skies, but very bad for every picture, texture, clothing, hair, skin, well everything built or 'alive' is now burnt by the light.

I see two solutions: either dissociate sky and mesh gammas, so that we have good sky and nice texturing, or ... I redo all my textures darker...

Maybe I missed something, if so please do tell, I'm owning a buisness, and visual quality is really important. Well even if you just want to have a walk , and see nice skies but everything is too bright under it, I think its a major drawback.

Another little thing, to me it turns down all local lights, ecxepted worn ones.

The gamma is burning everything or its too light. Textures very hard to see.
