Hello I am trying to log in the new SLim acct, not the viewer. I must not be understanding how it works but it wont accept log ins, i activated my email address, but I am not getting how to log it in after that, my sl user name (raven dallagio) goes there or my email address, neither works. What am I doing wrong.
I tried to run the SLim viewer, it has no voice, and my computer cant handle it. I end up blue screening or my pc freezes. I ran sl fine before on my old computer but I had to replace it with another which the graphics card isnt good, so i cant run sl, thought I could run this client.
Any suggestions, or walk thrue's would be great, I am not very computer literate, so i need all the help I can get.

You have to log in to SL using the SLim First Look viewer at least once with voice enabled in order to use the Slim client.

the problem is with this new graphics card i cant actually run a client. I can however, run a messenger program easily, so pls, which one of these is that?

Raven, you don't even need to move or do anything, just complete a successful login with the SLim veiwer... then create your SLim account which will be your SL user name and whatever new, SLim only password you gave it...
But my advice, don't bother. I just successfully logged on to SLim, after all those steps... I showed 11 friends online in SLim, only ONE of them was using a SLim compatible viewer, and there were at least three more that I confirmed were logged in to SL, (confirmed via other Messaging software) who couldn't even see me as logged in, or me them. So only 1 or at least 14 of my friends could actually communicate with me via the SLim software. And she had to remember to enable voice on her end first. 7% of your friends list? I don't have the patience or the desire to convince all my friends to use a different viewer just for me... I'll just give them my AIM account name |
