i have a problem with the release candidate . I have tried logging on , and when it gets to Initializing, it I crash and the crash report box comes up. i tried more time and impossible thx for help me and sorry for my bad english  |

Yes i gotten this to, heres a way to fix that was to start with a clean xml , as i never could change settings to anything it wouldnt instant crash with.
edit your SL shortcuit & add this line to target
-settings makeupanamehere.xml
it will revert all settings SL made and create a new blank one, clearing cache, reinstalling wont help unless you delete the xml that keeps crashing it.
This assumes you could run it at all first , not if you never could.

I just wanted to let you know Thili you are my hero for a lifetime. Ever since patch i have struggled with this crashing issue.
uninstall reinstall
registry crawl to delete all signs of Sl
different drivers
Nothing worked
But your advise logged me straight in. Big hugs to you. you have no idea how happy you made me. Lets just say My whole house thought i won the lottery.

I had instant crashes since yesterday. Clean install client, to no avail. Clean install older client.. Futile. Website information.. Nice if I knew what to ask for.
I tried everything I could do myself before bothering LL with it, and having to await a reply.
Then I saw your post and now everything works like a charm!

i cant log in! im ruthed, unable to do anything but turn in place and sometimes it looks like im in the corner of the sim. i was fine til i was forced to download the lastest version. nw i havent been able to get on the for the past 5 hours. ive cleared my cashe more than once, ive re logged, ive deleted temp files and ive reinstalled the program. im out of ideas and i need to get on.. someone.. help.. please =/
