Taking pictures in the latest WL

I take pictures on a daily basis, and while I'm hardly the greatest, I've had a lot of practice.
Since downloading the latest WL viewer, the Mac version, if I use a 512 x 512 size, and Upload a picture, I do not see the same thing in the little previewer as I see on my screen. It's not just a cropping thing due to the difference in size and proportions between my monitor and the snapshot. It is completely off, like there's a huge offset somewhere.
This is so strange, I wonder if anyone has the same problem, if it's a bug, and how to get around it.
TIA!

I've been having problems getting into these forums to find out if anyone else was having this issue.

Here's a detailed post from SLU about it.

I apologize for the screen sprawl but I wanted to demonstrate the problem exactly as I see it.

Okay, the first two pics are taken using the normal client. The first one is Current Window and the second is at 800x600.

The second two pics are taken using WindLight and again Current Window and at 800x600.

You'll notice that the perspective in the second WindLight shot is all screwed up. It doesn't matter what preset (other than Current Window) I use. And it doesn't matter if it's saved to hard drive, postcard, or uploaded. And I've tried messing with all of the radio buttons on the snapshot window.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a JIRA on the problem?

I'll post my system spec's below the pictures.

There's currently a JIRA issue for this, please vote on it so we can get it fixed ASAP :)
It also might help with picking options to use when taking your snaps, easiest atm is to do snapshot to disk and crop it yourself.

Exactly what I've been doing.

Thank you Haravikk and thanks for the JIRA link. :)
