Open Enrollment in a new group?

If I create a new group and want to make it open enrollment, how do I define what role the new members will be put into? I am making a store update group. Should I just retitle the "everyone" role to something more custom? Or is there a way to define what role people who sign up by clicking the join group button will be placed in.

Incoming members will be assigned to the Everyone role, so yes, you'd set that role up accordingly. You can only assign people to a specific role if you manually invite them.

I don't think you can change the role name "everyone", but you CAN change the title attached to it. It's the title that will display above an av's name when they have the group activated.
