I read al the threads (i think). But have no answer to my question.
I would like to sell my furniture with the option sell content.
I like the fact that i can put a lm inthere.
Now all my furniture are with animation, so the content is not empty
If you sell the content you also sell the animation
No problem but i think it is a bit messy

Is there a way around this?

Thanks for your help so far

If you mean selling the animations that go in the furniture:

Easiest way would be to setup 2 copies, one with animations and one without.
You could also sell the animations as no copy/transfer ok with instructions for users to drop it into the furniture.
Another option is to put a pay script into your furniture, have it pay you and then contact a server prim to deliver the animation directly to the furniture. This would require the owner giving permission to debit their account which may put people off.

If you mean having the furniture sell some of its contents:

If you are to receive the money, it would require permission of the owner to debit their account. When a payment is made to their copy, it would debit the same amount from them and make a payment to you. You can then select exactly which item of the inventory is delivered to the customer using llGiveInventory().
If the furniture owner is to receive the money then you can skip the debit permissions and money payments.

Just rez the furniture item in world, and set it to "Sell Copy", with next owner permissions that are more restrictive (like no-transfer). They will get the same piece of furniture, with the appropriate next-owner permissions (IE: Not copyable or not resellable).

Or make a box with a picture of the furniture on it, set to 'Sell Contents', and place in the box a copy of the furniture item(s) with the next owner permissions set as you desire.

I make and sell products with many animations and scripts in them. I have been selling them by setting my display model to "Sell Copy" and for the most part it works well. Lately however I have had a number of situations where someone has bought my products, rezzed them and then Right clicked and copied to inventory. This has the effect of removing all the animatitions and no copy scripts rendering the product useless. While it is a simple matter to drag the contents back in to the product making it usable again this is beyond the abilities of many new and less knowlegable players. For this reason I've started to sell my products in boxed versions. This seems to help and as an added feature allows me to easily include support information, landmarks and promotional items.

YMMV
