This is going to be an egg on my face answer to the question I'm about to ask, I can just feel it.
Ok here we go, I have a picture in my Profile which I put there way back and I recall I had no problem at all doing it. Now I wish to put a newer one in its place. I get the new there but next time I open Profile the old picture is back.
Any ideas in the way to do it and it work?

Have you clicked "OK" instead of closing the Profile window by clicking the "x" in the upper right corner? I used to get the same problem: change pic without effect. It was because I'd become used to closing on the "x" which is another way to "cancel" your action, not a way to affirm your action. Good luck.[/INDENT]

Yes had been closing with "X"
Transfered again and closed with "OK" now seems to be ok.
You see I knew it was something simple I got wrong.
