Atachmets Pile up

Hy,

Every time i tp or mowe to other region all my atachments pile up on one spot on my avi
i tryed several difrent atachments always getting same problem.does anyone know whats cosing this problem and how to fix it? Atachmets mowe back to original position only if i relog or reatach them wich is wery anoying.

*blinks* Wow, this is a new version of the shoe-up-the-butt-bug that happens when teleporting. Maybe this was LL's idea of fixing that bug, by introducing the hud version?

Have you tired teleporting again? Sometimes that fixes it too, but the relog or reattach is the most reliable way of fixing them.

Teleport doesnt fix it only relog or reatach do.

Woow thats so cool still not fixed.I yust love it when tp in full sim and end up surounded by manny people watching me having all stuff stufed in my ass.I yust hope that person responsible for fixing this have same problem so he can to have pleasure of beeing watched by people when he has boot in his ass.Right now i will also completly ignore the fact that all of my primed clothes ends up on same location wich makes me wery naked in public places!!

Btw what are updates for everytimes we update game its worse then before :/ is that ment to bee that way?

Don't worry, you're not alone. We all get the attachments up the butt. Can't help you here, cause everyone else has the same problem! Me, personally, I'd rather deal with strange attachments than loss of L$ or even mega-grid-instability, so I don't worry too much about it. Everyone understands!

hehe, yeah, nothing like tping to a club and finding your shoes are up your ass!

If its any consolation, you are the only one that sees the attachments up your butt..

Shoe Buggery has been a bug since early in the year, but its getting less common... there was a time it happened every time i crossed a sim border on foot, flying or by teleport. These days it seems only to happen about 50 percent of the time.

If you can copy the attachments, and just replace them from inventory, instead of taking them off and putting them on again, nobody will see what you are doing and you will be the only one who knows.

I was sitting in a hot tub recently and someone kindly pointed out that I was bald and my hair was floating on top of the water lol.

I stand corrected... nobody every pointed out that they could see my attachments in the wrong places, in fact, when i complained about it, people usually said "you look ok to me".

Either its different for different avatars, or i have some mischievous friends.

Well i spent about 3hrs today as a female shape, while wearing my new skin with a beard, my shape and clothes refused to load and couldn't manually fix them while htey were still loading, i could add and remoce and attatchments though. at the same time about 1/3 of my inventory wasnt showing up and was sweating over possible permanant loss, but it came back about 3hrs later.

Sigh, almost think SL should have a motto now, something like...

"One step forwards and 3 steps back"

Whether male or female, sometimes we get Ruth'd. Its the default shape but I must confess it looks weird on a man with a beard or stubble lol.

If they can't fix the bug that ruths us, perhaps they could just change the default shape so its not so unwelcome? i hate that brown sludge hair with the little flicks on the shoulders, the solid fringe (is it 'bangs' in American?), the pixie face, the midget stature which looks so so sad on a guy... couldn't we have something a little more neutral? A change would be better than nothing!

The other day I was walking round the Tate Modern in shoes which were a little bit harsh (new and unforgiving) on the tootsies, so I walked barefoot instead and carried my shoes.

Then I realised that as all I was carrying ... with my hands behind my back ... were shoes, held over my ample derriere ...

SL into RL. All I needed was a wig and hey presto, instant shoes and hair up the bum RL

When you TP into a region or cross into a region, the sim server has to collect all the details of your attached prims from the Asset Servers so it can serve them up to the the other avatars around you.
Your attachments have to go through a traumatic journey through the grid servers and network. Sperms have an easier time in RL.

The prims of your attachments get very very frightened by all of this, and they sometimes cluster together for comfort.
It happens to me quite often. I just drag a folder with my current outfit onto myself and that fixes it.
If any of your attachments are NoCopy, then you'll have "issues" if the components of your outfit are spread over a few folders.

The bit that I find really annoying is when some hair prims don't make the jump. I see myself bald except for a prim hair or two sticking up. Bald would be better !

In times of bad lag, I TP as near-naked as possible.

Until such time as LL have enough internal bandwidth to do the job, everyone is going to have to live with this. LL have to throw money at bandwidth (and redundant alternative bandwidth)

We could just call it a new fashion trend... soon we'll see models on the runway with "butt purses."
