new viewer problem?

Yesterday i download the latest viewer that was recommended from LL for better performance.

Thing is that since i installed the new software, i have more lag than before, more crashes (every 10-15 minutes), screen is freezing and such problems. And of course the perfromance has gone way down.
Do other residents face similar problems or is it only me?

ok. so it's a known problem. I choose to download the previous viewer they recomment till they fix that one.

You're assuming the "fix" is on LL's part. If your problem is outdated drivers or some setting on YOUR viewer preferences, this problem will never be "fixed" for you.

The new viewer is scheduled to be *mandatory* within the week. Even if that deadline is extended due to widespread issues, you're still facing a relatively short time in which you can slide by on the old viewer.

I'm still using the old viewer because i refuse to update because i tested first look a long time and it totally sucks...

I am crossing my fingers for when the New Viewer becomes :aw. First off my Video card in an ATI X300, and I have on several times updated to the Catalyst Drivers, only to remove them, as they caused all sorts of headaches for me. I may have to finally breakdown and get a new card. But I saw some really cute shoes in Nordstrom's the other day......
