NOT counting forum use, what is your favorite memories of SL so far:
of all things SL, my favorite experiences revolve around the running of my mall. i really miss being actively creative in so many directions, pretending to be an entrepreneur, and all the friends and contacts i made through that. i especially loved decorating an area that was pleasing to the eye of others, and actually presented a calming, inviting place that many enjoyed just lounging at while socializing. at this same time i learned to use photoshop to make textures and clothing which is a skill i can use elsewhere. and i created lots of interesting primmy items that range from vehicles to furniture to wearable accessories to bizarre usable objects. and i learned to make poses and simple animations. SL was so good for me in this regard.
i might go back into creating things. i miss loving to log in so i can finish something i had stayed up til all hours creating. i miss the w00t! feeling of someone buying something i created from scratch. i miss the solitude.
but i have no regrets. i have learned so much, and i cherish every relationship i have through SL, regardless of status. i am a loving woman with a big heart and lots of room for more. i think i will aim that back into creation... probably animations and poses. i have a lot fo love in me that i want to share, so maybe i'll work on cuddles and such and create a way to share my love by allowing others to share theres.
ok, that's my long, serious post. back to your regularly scheduled fluff.

Dancing at Schwanson's Punany Club in early 2005 when Jonquil Noir and somebody else were riding around the room on a flying toilet. That has always been the quintessential SL moment for me.

To be truthful, any inworld memories pale compared to what has transpired here over the last 3 years. Maybe except one. I am proud that Chris asked me to co form The Forum Cartek way back when, and to host the first few meetings. And though I stepped away from it a long time ago, I am still proud of what it has become tpday. I think it makes SL a better place for all it touches, especially new people.
The one inworld memory I wish I could claim having seen, was the scamp who griefed a Gorean sim with pictures of Abraham Lincoln saying "Free the Slaves."
Six.

My Fave memory so far is meeting my now RL wife in SL and 3 years later after I moved from the UK to be with her in Holland, I am still so very grateful to SL for bringing us together and very happy and very grateful to SL for enabling us to meet. For all its problems SL has brought me many happy memories and many great friends who I would never have met if it hadn't of been for this crazy place, both in world and on the forums. I love the way I can help the newbies in small ways and return the gifts that were given to me when I first started be it with the money tree or just general help and advice. Yes LL drives me crazy sometimes with its managements stupidity but its opened doors for me that maybe would never have been opened without them and I am still as passionate about SL as the day I rezzed and as much as I get cross with LL, I will be here until LL turns out the lights. Thanks to everyone that has made the last 4+ years fun for me and long may it continue that is my hope

I have lots of good SL memories and hope to create many many more. Somehow it is easier to compartmentalize the ones in the past and tell about them then the current ones.
Here are a few from the past: My first SL place I hung out and played dress up for hours - on top of a building in Midnight City; working with DonCoyote Antonelli and his fabulous sky dancers; Being a part of Elf Clan; Spending a couple years playing in an RP community based on the world of Harry Potter and rising to the role of Headmistress of Hogwarts with my faithful ghostly friend, Peter Sakai, by my side. Encouraging Peter through is first few in world concerts; Playing in a crazy wonderland world - Nevaria; Starting to raise silly chickens, tiring of them, finding homes for all the chickens and eggs and plowing the farm under; building a greenhouse, a castle, a lovely winter wonderland, a tropical retreat and more; observing three burning man and three Birthday celebrations, actually participating in one B-Day celebration.
Looking back it has been a great four years. I can still find more good then bad in SL.

Anything that makes me laugh is a good memory. Here was a funky sci-fi build, in the middle of which was... a banana peel. Laughed till I cried over the animation.

I can't pit it to a small number of events: there are just so many that come to mind. Parades, Camp HardKnock, exploring, Burning Life, blurtophones, fishing, fireworks. If anything, though, the best memories comes down to the people I've met and shared those times with -- the folks here very much included.

My favorite SL memory is the day I met my hubby.
It is something he and I often talk about, and tell RL friends about, it is something that is special to us both.
And even after almost 3 years of RL marriage, we still look back at that pivotal moment in our lives and smile, that secret smile that lovers share, because we know, fate brought us together.
