I haven't really been around long enough to have good historical context, but lately LL has been releasing ~8 new mainland sims per day, and occasionally up to ~20.

Is it my imagination, or have auction prices for non-waterfront sims dipped recently, more frequently to less than $3,000 USD? I seem to recall that before, most or all sims would go for more.

Are we starting to see the effect of increased land supply? Or is this fluctuation pretty normal?

In any case, with the continued steady sim releases, the situation looks promising for people hoping to acquire mainland in the future.
