Somewhere around here it says to add a -multiple switch to the SL command to be able to run multiple SL clients. Has that feature been removed? I modified my SL shortcut to include the -multiple switch. When I try to open a second instance, it says that I already have the application open.

That's the standard error. Sadly I would give you the command but I myself am not in front of my PC but it should be either one of these in teh target line I think.
"C:\Secondlife\secondlife.exe -multiple" OR "C:\Secondlife\secondlife.exe" -multiple If you do a forms search (including the old forums.) I think there is a better detailed one out there. I'll try to search but at work I have less then dialup speeds. EDIT: Just checked and it is "C:\Program Files\SecondLife\SecondLife.exe" -multiple just place in TARGET and you should be ok. REMEMBER WHEN YOU UPDATE SL THE SHORTCUT GETS REPLACED. Alot forget that the first few times, etc. I still sometimes get caught cursing at my PC from that sometimes. PS NEVER use "login" as the search key for anything in the forums...I just found out the hard way. >_< _____________________

Ah! Now I got it to work. I thought I did it as you described but I looked again but it wasn't. Either I was on drugs, or sleepy, or confused, or on another computer, etc.

Don't worry I do it myself. Infact alot of times I reverse the position of the final " mark.
