From: someone The object 'Second Life' has sent you a message from Second Life: Objects in Sawrey are unable to be created because the parcels they are being created on are full. Notifications from this region are temporarily deactivated. I've got nothing in Sawrey, never mind something that rezzes anything. I've also been getting the same message for the sims: Keswick, Flo, Yawgoo, Eagan, Takalo, Gourdneck, Isabel, Chong, Yelas, Champlain, Penrith, and Mimas. I don't have anything in those sims either. Anyone else getting mystery parcel-full messages?

I'm pretty sure this has something to do with temp-on-rez objects getting counted against a parcel's prim count. A question about this has been asked in Linden Answers but it got shushed off with a 'bug report it' response. I don't think LL post any kind of Known Issues log any more - they only communicate when there's an obvious crisis, but I'm seeing the same thing (albeit on my own land) with temp-on-rez birds that I have that fly around. Alas, they fly around no more.

(2K noted the object name was "Second Life" and decided that, as I was now the onwer of Second Life, I aught get to work on them damn bugs!) I figured if I could make the Second Life obect self-replicating it would handle the scaling problems. =^.^=

I got a message last night that I needed to move closer to a teleporter pad before I could use it, because "the object you are trying to use is in another region". It's located dead center in the sim, and I was 4 M from it. The nearest sim border was over 100 M distant from myself or the pad. WTF?

Wierd, frustrating, annoying, and sometimes even enraging, but it's never boring.

Anyone else getting mystery parcel-full messages? I got this exact message this morning in Mimas. It IS related to objects trying to create temp-on-rez items. Have no idea why you'de be getting them from so many sims, but in my case it was from my auto-rezzers. In fact, the reason Mimas is puking up those errors might solely be due to my mild use of them... trying to sort it out as quick as I can... promise. I'm below my limit now so the error from Mimas shouldn't be an issue any more. Since the update, temp-on-rez objects now DO count against a parcels prim count, where as before they did not. That was the whole selling point of rezzers in the first place. At this time I'm not sure if it's something that'll correct itself, something that needs to be looked at by a Linden, or if it's something new we'll have to live with. The guys selling rezzers are gonna be pissed if it's that last one...

I have reproduced the bug twice an filed it. Here is the second repro:
Parcel stats: [16:49] Object: allowed = 234 total = 223 free =11 owner = 223 group = 0 other = 0 temp = 0
Rezz a 10 temp on prim object on parcel: [16:50] Object: allowed = 234 total = 223 free =11 owner = 223 group = 0 other = 0 temp = 10
Add 10 more regular prim to property: [16:50] Object: allowed = 234 total = 233 free =1 owner = 233 group = 0 other = 0 temp = 0
Try to rez the 10 temp on prim object again: [16:52] Can't move object to { 242.153, 204.453, 26.1475 } in region Bethel because the parcel is full.

TempOnRez gives you that error.
So does attempting to attach certain high-prim attachments.
No idea why you'd get it unless soemthign you wear rezzes or controls prims.
If LL would actually talk to us, maybe we could all work out the answer.
As far as I can tell, the new code Kelly wrote is borked and needs redone. We're prolly in for a lot of problems until next update at the earliest. File the bug reports by the scores and let LL know it's broke.
Apparently they can't figure that out unless they get buried by electronic paperwork.

From: Jesse Barnett I have reproduced the bug twice an filed it. Thank you Jesse for submitting that Seeing the temp count jump to zero and then refuse a new temp-on-rez is exactly what I've seen.
