I sometimes hear (read) people saying this. Not the default script stuff in green text but what looks like actual chat.
What is this?

It is one of first beginners scripts if I think. When you create script in content it always makes hello avatar. First script when you make it says hello, Avatar then you can edit or put new script in the newly created script note card. . Hello Avatar allows the person to program text message when you touch the box or item but script only works if object is on ground not worn.

That shows up when someone in your vecinity created a default script and has added it to a prim. Just ignore it.

Chat from scripted objects should show up in green, though. Shouldn't they?
What I've seen is in regular white chat color - not in the green script color. _____________________
