What's with SL tonight???? I can hardly move and it keeps on crashing every time I log out. I also had one hell of a time trying to log back in. And in one attempt, I only had my clothes and hair with no body underneath!! What a mess!!!

I've experienced lag before but this was the worst experience so far. I hope it's not a trend!!!

Yeah, I was booted about 15 times in less than 2 hours. I built up my new store (frustratingly) and then left.

Too much lag, too much packet loss, too much crashing.

The holidays... no one at the server farm to replace the strips of duct tape that fell off the asset server :)
I discovered a funny new error: "Inventory creation on inworld object failed". It did cost me a few antique greek pillars without copy permission. Pillars gone, Lost&Found folder empty. I went back to the store and bought 10 more, moved them into a single folder, tried to rez one without noticing I still had all 10 highlighted; same error, all 10 objects gone at once. Well, I'll wait until monday now. *sings* Sunday, bloody sunday...

happened to me too. took 5 minutes to totally appear. and when i did, i was ruth! i was rather surprised, since i was "at home" on a residential island sim with only 8 other avies.

additionally, TP was close to impossible ... and has been for me recently. i either receive an error message or nothing happens at all. live help has told me that this happens because i wear attachments (like those shoes and hair that rezzed without my body earlier, i guess).

i did notice that there were more than 16,500 residents on the grid at that time yesterday.

i've come to the conclusion that the grid just cannot handle this volume.

sigh.

Yesterday i had all sorts of problems with SL. After Robin's grid announcement about SL having problems, i noticed the my home sim crashed as i was chatting. I logged back in to find myself in the welcome area (only 1 of the sims was up as well). Everybody there was rezzing in from the big fountain in the middle, all grey.

About 80 people started popping in. the world map was completely empty. A minute later that sim crashed. I logged back in at one of the korea sims to experiance this all over again so i quickly and blindly began double clicking any place i could on the world map to get out of there. I arived in someones bathroom shower, unable to move.

A friend offered me a TP, but it wouldn't work so i relogged. When i finally was able to get there i was still unable to move my avatar. So i pulled out a vehicle thinking that might help make me mobile. Nope... I found it impossible to stand back up off it, so i deleted the vehicle. Then my client crashed. When i logged back in everything was ok.
