I just deeded a parcel to a group I own. But I also want to transfer the building on the parcel to the group, otherwise the objects would be recognized as "owned by others" and returned. How can I do it? Thanks, Violet

Of course I can set every single object to the group, I thought about something like "deed to group with objects". Violet

There's a distinction between simply setting an object to group, and deeding an object to a group. All you really need to do is "set" it. If all the objects are yours, do this:
1) On the Tools menu, make sure "Select only my objects" and "Select by surrounding" are checked
2) On the Client menu (ctrl alt d) make sure "Disable camera constraints" is selected
3) Move your camera so that all objects on the parcel are visible in the frame
4) Hit Ctrl 3 to bring up the editor, and then select all the objects by drawing a box around them with your mouse
5) On the general tab of the edit dialog, next to Group, click "Set". Select the appropriate group
Unless you have a specific need to actually deed the objects to your group, it's better to just set it as described above. Deeding means that you relinquish ownership of the objects, and anybody in the group can do anything they want with them, including deleting them, even accidentally.

Thanks for your input, Zaphod! Especially the distinction between deeding and setting was not 100% clear to me.
