Group to be disbanded, but enough members?

This morning I got a message from Second Life that a group I created will be disbanded tomorrow unless I get enough members to meet the 2 member minimum.

But the group ("Letzebuerg";) has actually 7 members and that since at least a few days. What's that supposed to mean? Last I checked, logic dictates that 7 is bigger than 2, so I don't understand why I received this message. Did anyone else got a similar message?

Never received a notice like that on the two groups I've created.

However, you might see how long the other avs have been absent from SL. If they're freebie accounts, and they haven't logged on in some time (I believe 90 days) then SL deletes the account. Create an alt and use that as one of your group members (as a place holder if you will) and log it on every week or so to prevent group disbandings.

Thanks for the answer, but most of the members have been created this month. Apart from mine, no one is older than 2 weeks. So they must have signed in in the past two weeks and couldn't have been absent for over 90 days. The group itself has been created in January 2007.

Is it true, that free accounts will be deleted, if they haven't logged in for 90 days?

I apologize, I was going on the uninformed information I received from someone else.

Definitely contact support, phone and e-mail...interesting that they will do this kind of stuff on the weekend but not answer questions....

Just in case it is disbanded re-claim any land assigned to that group because land owned by a disbanded group will go back to Gov. Linden and be re-sold/auctioned.

Perhaps the notice was put in que to be sent before your numbers went above 2?

Good Luck.

Contact support? You got to be joking, Musicteacher!!! LOL. The best thing I think is to create an alt right now and join them up. Then find a friend (not an alt) to join your group as a back up. Make sure the members of the group don't own any land you might own as a group. Then get in that rather lone line to support...........it'll be a month or more for any hope of help.

Group disbanded message

Wil
I also had this message yesterday. It relates to a group that's been formed and active for some time and has always had at least two active members. I contacted Tech' support but no response, except for a ticket number. i also contacted live help..To be told we have enough members and it won't be disbanded. Yet, 20 minutes later i had another message from SL warning of disbandment today.
This group holds all our land.

since when? and where? the link shows nothing but prem account information.

"Generally, Basic accounts can be left alone if you're not going to log in for a long time, while Premium accounts need to be paid for accordingly, including tier fees for land holdings, or risk being put on hold and deleted." this does not mean freebie account are removed.....................you mistaking

I recieved the same notice for a group I had 4 people in. But I had 3 listed as owners so maybe that's why the system said there was only one MEMBER. We forced someone else to join and the group was saved. Hopefully the Lindens fix this while they are fixing group IMS from large groups (holds breath).
