Griefing

What the hell, no one to stop a grief attack???? I tried to find live help, LL phones, NOTHING WTF??????? Something is happening in Korea right now, no one to report to, reallly sad

Log in at the bottom. If you're Premium, you can go through all (and I do mean ALL) the steps of the Solution Finder to reach Live Help. Otherwise, you'll need to submit a ticket using the 'Special Questions' ticket type...they'll ignore anything else from a Basic member.

Personally, I'd grab everyone you can (tp people in!) and AR it like crazy.

This REALLY needs a solution. The problem with griefing, especially in sandboxes, has exploded along with the growth in SL's population.
While AR's exist...they are a slow, cumbersome substitute for such problems.
There needs to be some way for these *sshats to be ban/ejected from sims where they cause problems. In public sandboxes, perhaps the Lindens can recruit/train/hire residents to act as moderators. In private sandboxes, I'd encourage owners to set certain trusted members to do the same.
Outside of that...I'm at a loss of what to propose.

griefers are good, makes u remember 1 of the main reasons why u bought an island

If you can't get the griefer's name, put Governor Linden in as the name and then explain more completely in the body of the AR. Ought to get their attention.

No JessyAnn, it's not me, someone is dumping disgusting photos all over the welcome are, such as porn, nazi symbols, etc, making lots of noise, and its lasting forever. If I can find out how to post a pic here I can show you, or you can go there and see, I think is Korea4. The pictures are really disgusting and they come non stop

I decided to drop in and see the sight and maybe help in the abuse reporting. I have one question and I doubt a resident can answer it, but... Whose bright idea in LL was it to remove the 'Report Abuse' from the pie chart and replace it with 'Inspect?'

Edit to add: Thanks Ava! And the person was either banned or something, because he was there and then gone. He was wearing the object spewing the particles and spouting nonsense over the the local. I reported him/her and such, but it took a few more steps than it used to!

Probably. Added about way too many more steps than it should have. Used to, you could right click, go to more and then go to 'Report Abuse,' and it would fill in the name of the person... now, you have to go to inspect, get the name of the person, go to the task bar/help/report abuse and then search the idiot's name to get it to allow it! And they removed the ability to abuse report from the profile too!

I'm very tempted to open a JIRA on that. Griefer attacks happen so quickly, that it's hard to do it the 'traditional' way.

Sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands.
