I choose positive but i think you should maybe have had a few more options in between because it hasnt all been great. most of the time is good though so i can overlook the problems that need improving for now.

If it had been a negative experience overall i wouldnt be here anymore.

I've been here 4 months. If it wasn't positive I wouldn't have stayed.

In the few months I have been here, I have made some great friends, and met a lot of fun people. I wouldn't have traded that for anything. In that time, I have been able to develop my graphic skills in a fun way, and learn more about a lifestyle that I have had some interest in, but haven't been able to test the waters with.

I put negative, but only because of all the technical frustrations.

Not, you know, my friends, interactions with people, etc.

Definitely positive, despite any irritants.

The greatest thing about SL: there's always something to do, even if one can't build (such as myself). Whatever my mood and if I don't feel like my usual 1st life hobbies and activities, there's always people to meet, places to go, and things to interact with in SL.

It's all good.

i choose positive for fun and lots help i receive from the forum and in-world peoples, but i'd like to say a negative situation like:

As a premium user, i never got any direct support responses from sl staff, only one indirect reponse that i asked to make a specific payment, where the fees are partly from my credit card and sl account. they help to make a payment. but i never receieve a response.(Let me know the deal is done.)

Hope this situation will be resolved ASAP.

SL is optional, costs time, and for many of us it costs money.

I can't understand why someone would still be "into" SL and these message boards if it was a negative experience for them.

Overwhelmingly positive, in a variety of ways.

As for the technical frustrations, I've managed to avoid large numbers of them because I upgraded my computer with SL in mind. So I only tend to have problems when the grid is really groaning.

Positive, without any doubt...

I am now here more then a year. I am pretty sure I would not be here anymore and spend over 40 US$ each month if it would have not been a positive experience. I am enjoying myself very well in SL.

Exactly my thoughts. Asking this question here is like asking the choir if singing is a worthwile pastime. ;)

Like anything else, SL has had its ups and downs, but overall I'd say it's been a good experience. After all, I've been here going on three years and am still increasing my participation and inworld presence. (And honestly, I like it MUCH better now than I did 3 years ago--there's much more to see and do.)

There have been frustrations of course but on the whole it's been great. Met some nice people, learned some new things, I'm even geting to brush off my French! As I improve at building I can only see my enjoyment increasing even more.
Nothing can be 100% positive, the question is whether you can overcome the gimps you meet and the glitches you encounter and still enjoy it, for me the answer to that is yes I can. :)
